3 to 5 year old classes

Attend a 45-minute class each week for 10 weeks and have fun with your child, learning early literacy skills and preparing for school. 

Literacy Blast-Off classes are led by an Australian teacher and provide your child with structured, play based activities that develop early literacy skills and prepare children for future success in school. Our classes are developmentally appropriate and based on exemplary teaching strategies, currently used in Australian schools.

Each week you and your child will participate in play based learning that teaches: 

  • Phonetic letter sounds and letter names
  • Breaking words into syllables
  • Rhythm and rhyme
  • Thinking and comprehension
  • Attention and listening skills

Group tutoring for Year 1 and 2 students

Your child will attend a 45-minute class each week for 10 weeks and have fun revising early literacy skills and practicing concepts being taught in school. 

Like the 3 to 5 year old classes, the Literacy Blast-Off classes for Year 1 and 2 studnents are led by an Australian teacher and provide children with structured, play based activities that develop literacy skills and help children to succeed in school. Our classes are developmentally appropriate and based on exemplary teaching strategies, currently used in Australian schools.

4 Comprehension and Listening Skills: Online program

This program is recommended for use from the age of 2 years, into the early years of primary school, and will also benefit children who need extra practise with reading comprehension and listening skills.

This easy to follow program that can be used with any book and includes:

  • Identification of skills your child needs to listen actively and comprehend stories
  • Detailed instructions on how to teach each skill
  • Guidance on how to get the most out of story time
  • Daily comprehension activities that can be used with any story book
  • Fun games to develop concentration, memory and listening skills

5 Letter Names and Sounds: Online program

This stage is recommended for use from the age of 4 years and will also benefit children who need extra practise with letter sounds.
